ENERGY STAR Program Maturing Feb-01-10

Chesapeake Utilites Corporation, INC. DBA Central Florida Gas launched their ENERGY STAR Partnership sponsoring a New Homes Program in the spring of 2008. Since that time over 40 presentations have been done for builders or home building organizations. To date, eight builders have signed on to become ENERGY STAR Builder Partners under the program. We have participated in two ribbon cutting ceremonies for the first ENERGY STAR Home Qualified in Bartow and Haines City, FL. We have qualified several homes now and our funnel is full of homes that will soon be qualified in Polk and Hillsborough Counties.
